Full Stack Software Developer | Glendene, West Auckland

Full-Time

Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 per annum

Are you a Java-savvy developer who enjoys working across the stack and building tailored solutions that make a real difference? We’re looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Developer with a strong foundation in Java, plus the ability to contribute across the full development cycle – from backend services to front-end interfaces.

Join a small, agile in-house team within a service-based company where software is built exclusively to support and enhance internal operations. You’ll have the chance to take ownership of features, collaborate closely with business users, and see your work deliver immediate impact..


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain bespoke business applications for increasing productivity across our organisation.
  • Contribute to full stack development with Java backend, and front-end work (React & Flutter).
  • Develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Integrate third-party services and internal tooling.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and deliver business requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment and documentation.
  • Support existing systems and help evolve the technology stack.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2-4 years’ experience as a full stack developer.
  • Strong hands-on Java development experience.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred by not required).
  • Familiarity with coding best practices – including Git, debugging, and documentation.
  • Comfortable building front-end components and integrating with APIs.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • Ability to work independently in a small, focused team.
  • Strong communication skills with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
  • Bonus points for experience supporting business-critical systems.
