Sales Representative — Auckland CBD Rubbish & Recycling Growth Role

Rubbish Direct | Full-time | Auckland

Rubbish Direct is growing, and we are looking for the right person to help us build our Auckland CBD customer network. You do not need waste industry experience. You do not need to come from a sales background. Some of our best people have come from completely different careers. What matters more to us is attitude, work ethic, confidence, resilience, and the ability to build trust with people. If you are hungry to learn, good with people, organised, and willing to get out into the market, we can teach you the rest.


About the role

This is a field sales role. You will be out in the Auckland CBD every day, talking to businesses, finding opportunities, and helping Rubbish Direct grow street by street.


The role includes:

  • Walking CBD territories and prospecting new customers
  • Talking to business owners, property managers, body corporates, offices, retailers, and hospitality operators
  • Understanding each customer’s rubbish and recycling needs
  • Finding out who currently services each site and where the opportunities are
  • Recording accurate information in our CRM
  • Preparing quotes and following up promptly
  • Working with our team to make sure new customers are set up correctly
  • Looking after customers after the sale, not just signing them up and moving on

Who we are looking for

You may be an experienced sales rep — or you may be someone looking for a fresh start in sales.

You could come from hospitality, trades, customer service, admin, accounting, operations, sport, retail, or another practical background.
