Our approach to recycling integrity is simple: your recycling is collected, brought back to our West Auckland depot and hand-sorted by our team. Customers can visit our facility to see the process first hand and ask any questions they might have.

Recycling can be difficult to judge from the outside. Rubbish Direct makes the process easier to understand by showing how recyclables are collected, brought back to our depot, sorted and prepared for the next stage.

Audits and advice
Recoverable materials are prepared for onward processing through suitable recycling partners. Materials that cannot be recovered for recycling are sent to landfill.
Come and see it
A facility tour gives customers a clear view of the sort line, materials, contamination examples and the people handling the work. It is especially helpful for organisations with recycling targets, sustainability reporting or building-user education needs.
